Patrick Sapp is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Clemson University alumnus, holding a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. His background uniquely blends clinical training with decades of leadership experience, allowing him to approach mental health work with both empathy and practical insight. His therapeutic focus centers on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals, couples, children, and families can build coping skills, strengthen communication, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

Before entering the mental health field, Patrick was a second-round NFL Draft pick for the San Diego Chargers. Following his professional sports career, he returned to Clemson University, where he served for over thirteen years as Director of Development, helping raise more than $800 million in support of academic and athletic initiatives. He later expanded his leadership as Vice President of Development at Rosemont Holdings, contributing to the launch of Hyatt’s first entertainment brand. These experiences shaped his deep understanding of pressure, transition, identity, and resilience—key themes he now integrates into his therapeutic work.

Today, Patrick is the co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of Universal Therapeutic Services in Greenville, South Carolina, where he is dedicated to expanding access to quality mental health care. His approach to therapy is compassionate, structured, and goal-oriented, helping clients of all ages develop tools they can apply in everyday life. Across every role he holds, Patrick remains committed to empowering individuals, supporting children and families, and fostering long-term emotional well-being within the communities he serves.
